This is Kanata. I turned 20 years old today.
I encountered the occupation as an actor at an early stage in my life.
Many people can see that there are both positive and negative qualities to it (acting).
It's really worth doing it, this kind of work (as an actor).
To be able devote myself to this through my teen years,
I was in a really blessed environment.
My parents who believed in me and
the people who came around to show their support,
and everyone who came to cheer me on,
I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I truly do.
I was able to experience many things and live to the fullest everyday.
But, trying to blend in and work together with adults
alone wasn't easy.
There were many times when I was unreasonably treated unequally and
I wanted to run away; I was filled with a lot of dark and hateful thoughts.
So many bad thoughts.
I'm well aware now that it's not because I have the social skills of a child, or anything like that, but that I, myself, am imperfect and immature [that I feel this way].
......But for now, I'm glad that I was able to create memories like these while I am still young. Because the memories I have of being knocked down at times and feeling helpless at others are what made me the way I am today.
Surely, after this
the best feeling of achievement which I haven't experienced up til now as well as
the unimaginably terrifying thoughts
I will experience many things.
As everything mentioned, I will continue to grow as an actor.
With faith.
